Attorney Griggs is a practicing attorney with Neuberger, Griggs, Sweet & Froehle, LLP. He has been a partner in the firm since 1993, having joined the firm as an associate in 1989.

Originally a Connecticut native, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine in 1986. During his college years, he studied at the University of Nottingham in Nottingham, England. Attorney Griggs attended law school at Marquette University Law School, graduating in 1989. He also served a clerkship with the Honorable Louis J. Ceci of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Attorney Griggs is an experienced trial attorney and practices in a range of areas, including bankruptcy, estate planning, trust and probate administration, municipal law, real estate, family law, criminal, civil litigation, and personal injury. Among other clients, he represents numerous towns, villages and cities in Jefferson and Dodge counties. Attorney Griggs is licensed to practice law in all courts in Wisconsin and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the Jefferson County Bar Association.

He has served on various community boards, including the Watertown Chamber of Commerce as a past president, the Watertown Kiwanis Club, and the Trinity Lutheran Church Trust and Estates Committee as chairman. Attorney Griggs also serves on the Board of Directors of Farmers & Merchants State Bank. He actively participates in and promotes community sports, including in the past having coached youth soccer, football, basketball, and tennis. He is an avid skier, having skied throughout North America and Europe and also enjoys water skiing and racquetball.

Successfully represented the Respondent in the landmark Grandparent Visitation Rights Case in the State of Wisconsin known as S.A.M. v. Meister, 2016 WI 22.

Represented M&I Bank of Watertown successfully in a Federal seizure action and secured transaction matter identified as Suzanne Marx and Kathleen Marx .v M&I Bank of Watertown in the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit identified as case number 17 F.3d 1012.

Represented Respondent in Bartz v Bartz regarding a conversion of a Judgment of Legal Separation to a Judgment of Divorce. 153 Wis. 2d. 756.
